Blake Jones Trout Derby Pleasant Valley Reservoir (6 miles north of Bishop, turn right off Hwy 395 onto Pleasant Valley Dam Rd.) An annual "Blind Bogey" derby to help get ready for the trout fishing opener. Prizes galore! Sponsored by the Bishop Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau and the Paiute Palace Casino. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day weekend with the best of Irish traditional music & dance at the Inyo Council for the Arts Theater in Bishop. Ciúnas (In Gaelic pronounced: "kyew-mis") will be celebrating the release of their new CD with an evening high energy reels and authentic stepdancing form the heart of the Irish tradition. A reception for the student artists of the current gallery show at Inyo Council for the Arts, 275B S. Main in Bishop. 7:00 to 8:30 pm. There is no charge to enjoy music and refreshments with student artisits from throughout Inyo County.
